Polwarth is a breed of sheep that was developed in Australia in 1880. (75% merino and 25% Lincon) the wool is soft, strong and lustrous. Very gentle and comfortable for next to skin wear. Higlhy elastic, resilient and with a natural ability to “bloom” nicely after being washed. Yields a squishy, well-draping yarn with clear stitch definitionMicron range from 20 to 27 micron.
