Open Days 24, 25, and 26 October
Come and visit us at Rewa Rewa Station on Labour Weekend. We will have spinning and felting demonstrations, beekeeping demonstrations (bookings are essential), meet the animals. There will be sales of wool, woolen products, candles, honey, and beeswax wraps.
Bring your friends and your knitting. Refreshments will be available.
Beekeeping demonstrations will run daily at 11am, with a maximum of four people per demonstration. If there is demand, we will put on other times. To book your place on a beekeeping demonstration, please email email@example.com with the names and numbers of people, plus which date you will attend. For safety reasons, we may not be able to accommodate children, but let us know their age and height, and we will do our best. Please ensure you wear long thick trousers, such as jeans, and fully enclosed boots, or shoes and socks. Beekeeping jackets and veil will be provided.
Rewa Rewa Station is approximately 1 hour from Masterton. There are no petrol stations once you leave Masterton. Take the Masterton Castlepoint Road. When you get to Tinui, turn left at the pub, and right at the craft store onto Manawa Road. Approximately 5km on, there is a white house on a little hill on your right, and on your left is Rewa Rewa Road. Turn into Rewa Rewa Road and follow the signs. This is a gravel road, but it is in good condition.
