Gotland sheep, also called Gotland Pelt, is a breed of domestic short tail sheep named after the Swedish island of Gotland from where they originate.
Gotland wool is a lustrous, silky and resilient fibre. around 29 to 34 micron. It comes in natural shades of grey from nealry white to nearly black. its reflect the light beautifully and has a distinctive metallic, silvery appearance. It develops a light mohair-like halo that develops after washing and wearing.
